The linear module, also known as the electric slide table, is an essential moving part in automation equipment. Through the module, it can be quickly and easily combined into various types of rectangular coordinate robot arms. During the installation and operation process, the cartesian robot arm depends on the correct use to maintain the best performance, extend the service life of the machine, and avoid machine damage or shortened life due to poor installation. For the electric slide in the installation and operation process, the possible problems are summarized as follows:
1. The flatness of the bottom surface of the sliding table installation is not up to standard
The bottom surface of the slide installation is too large, which will cause the bottom surface of the electric slide to be forcibly locked, resulting in strong bending deformation of the bottom surface of the slide, linear guide rail and ball screw. Light will increase the operating resistance of the slide, heavy may be the electric slide can not run, dramatically shorten the life of the electric slide. According to the accuracy level of the slide, the flatness of the installation bottom surface of the general ordinary grade should be less than 0.05mm/m. For precision grades, the flatness of the mounting bottom surface should be less than 0.02mm/mm.
2. The fixing screws at the bottom of the slide table are locked in the wrong order
The fixing screws at the bottom of the slide table should follow the principle of locking in the middle first, then both ends. If the two ends are locked first, the arch shape variable caused by deformation cannot be eliminated, resulting in the linear guide can not run smoothly, reducing the walking parallelism and straightness accuracy.
3, the slide motor shaft and the lead screw shaft end are different
Although the coupling can eliminate a certain degree of eccentricity, if the concentricity runout value of the slide screw shaft end and the motor shaft exceeds the allowable range of the coupling, it will accelerate the damage of the coupling, resulting in abnormal coupling sound, or shrapnel fracture, which should be avoided as far as possible.
4, multi-axis gantry combination sliding table on both sides of the installation height uneven
When the sliding table is installed in gantry type, if the height of the guide rail on both sides is uneven, or the parallel two sliding tables are not parallel, the electric sliding table will be held up and the damage of the electric sliding table will be accelerated.
5, the slider synchronization belt tension is too loose or too tight
The tension of the synchronous belt of the electric slide should be kept moderate, and the tension of the belt is too tight, which will make the tension of the synchronous wheel and the synchronous belt too large, and produce abnormal sound. If the belt tension is too loose, it will cause a gap in the transmission process, reduce the accuracy, and cause a skip tooth in serious cases. The tension degree of the synchronous belt is generally determined by the tension force and deflection. The measurement method is as follows: when the thrust meter is used to press the vertical direction of the middle point of the belt, and a certain amount of tension force is applied, the deflection value generated by the measurement corresponds to the reference value of different center distances and belt specifications.
6. The slider synchronization belt is not aligned
The electric slide of synchronous belt transmission, or the electric slide mounted on the side of the motor, should keep the synchronous wheel flush, otherwise it will cause the belt to run off, and then the belt edge and the synchronous belt guard will friction, and the synchronous belt will be damaged and broken in a short time.
7. The sliding table induction switch collids with the sensor due to deformation
Due to deformation, the sensor plate of the electric slide induction switch collides with the photoelectric switch, causing the photoelectric switch to be damaged. Countermeasure: Before powering on and sliding the slider, check whether the photoelectric switch can pass the photoelectric switch normally.
8, the suspension length of the slide load is too large
The overhanging length of the load of the slide will cause the allowable torque of the guide rail to be overloaded. Under different acceleration and deceleration speeds, the cantilever torque will change, and the vibration generated by acceleration and deceleration will eventually be absorbed by the electric slide. Long-term vibration will shorten the life of the guide rail.
9. The load of the sliding table is out of use
When selecting the slide table, in addition to referring to the transportable load data in the selection manual, the impact of dynamic allowable torque, acceleration and deceleration changes, and cantilever length should be checked, and sufficient safety factor should be reserved.
10, the slide induction switch wiring error or overpressure burned
Electric slide induction switch generally uses photoelectric switch, photoelectric switch positive and negative polarity reverse connection will cause photoelectric switch damage. The photoelectric switch cannot share the power supply with the motor driver or other inductive load, otherwise the reverse electromotive force generated by the motor or inductive load will cause the voltage to fluctuate greatly, which will burn out the photoelectric switch.
